• What kind of programs does the Tourism Training Revolving Fund have ?

Tourism Training Revolving Fund sponsors upskilling programs for workers, directors , managers and other  players in the tourism industry. Tourism Training Revolving Fund also award loans to qualified students undertaking regular programs.

• What are some of the ongoing activities in Tourism Training Revolving Fund?

Tourism Fund is currently preparing to launch the revolving fund

It is also in the process of sponsoring upskilling programs for industry players countrywide , the program is being carried out through different regions at different times.

• What kind of training does the Tourism Training Revolving Fund offer ?

Tourism Training Revolving Fund does NOT offer Training. Tourism Fund through the Tourism Training Revolving Fund  is sponsoring an upskilling training for workers in the tourism and hospitality sector through approved training institutions countrywide .

• What is the duration of the upskilling training ?

In accordance with the  approved training institution will run between 1-3 weeks, this will vary with the kind of training that is being offered and inquiries can be channeled to the relevant institutions.

• Who is the target group ?

The target group is workers in the hospitality industry who require further training and / or are uncertified .

• Who pays for the training ?

The training program is sponsored by  the Tourism Fund , through the Tourism Training Revolving Fund. The students will not incur any training fees.

• What are the training courses available?

Food and Beverage production, Pastry/ Bakery, Front Office, House Keeping, Mixology and Bar operations, Barista, Event management, Food and Bevarage Service

• Will the participants be issued with certificates?

Yes. Upon completion of the training program and approval of the trainers , the participants will be issued with certificates.
