Tourism Fund continuously support of various programs aimed at enhancing the sustainability and development of the Tourism Sector.  The Fund is guided by among others, the Tourism Act 2011, Vision 2030, National Tourism Strategy and its current strategic plan.

Tourism Fund, through the Capacity Building Department, has announced a training program in Machakos to enhance the skills and capabilities for uncertified workers within the tourism industry. This initiative addresses the need to bridge the skills gap in the hotel industry through offering capacity-building opportunities for workers who have never had any formal training.

Training for industry leaders, covering business sustainability, contemporary trends, human resources, financial management, and statutory responsibilities, is scheduled to take place on Monday 12th & Tuesday 13th May 2025. This training targets the managers, directors, and owners. The venue for the training will be advised. Tourism Fund invites all tourism and hospitality sector stakeholders to participate in this transformative initiative. Registrations are currently ongoing
