Registration for the Tourism Fund Sponsored Training Program For Hospitality Service Providers from Kisumu, Siaya and ( part of Homa bay) from 25th November 2024 to 6th December 2024 at Kisumu National Polytechnic County is now open.
Tourism Fund continuously support of various programs aimed at enhancing sustainability and development of the Tourism Sector. The Fund is guided by among others, the Tourism Act 2011, Vision 2030, National Tourism Strategy and its current strategic plan.
Tourism Fund, through the Capacity Building Department, has announced a training program in Kisumu County, Siaya County and Karachuonyo sub-county (Homa Bay County) on 25th November 2024 to 6th December 2024 at Kisumu National Polytechnic aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities for uncertified workers within the tourism industry. This initiative addresses the need to bridge the skills gap in the hotel industry through offering capacity-building opportunities for workers who have never had any formal training.
The Fund is also sponsoring Training for industry leaders, on 4th and 5th December 2024, covering business sustainability, contemporary trends, human resource, financial management, among other topics. This training targets the managers directors’ and owners. The venue for the training will be communicated in due course. Tourism Fund is inviting all tourism and hospitality sector stakeholders to partake in this transformative initiative. Registrations are currently ongoing
