Registration for the Tourism Fund Sponsored Training Program For Hospitality Service Providers from Kakamega, Vihiga ( and part of Bungoma County) is now open. The date will be advised.
Tourism Fund continuously support of various programs aimed at enhancing sustainability and development of the Tourism Sector. The Fund is guided by among others, the Tourism Act 2011, Vision 2030, National Tourism Strategy and its current strategic plan.
Tourism Fund, through the Capacity Building Department, has announced a training program in Kakamega,Vihiga and Webuye East aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities for uncertified workers within the tourism industry. This initiative addresses the need to bridge the skills gap in the hotel industry through offering capacity-building opportunities for workers who have never had any formal training.
The Fund is also sponsoring Training for industry leaders, covering business sustainability, contemporary trends, human resource, financial management, among other topics. This training targets the managers directors’ and owners. The venue for the training will be communicated in due course. Tourism Fund is inviting all tourism and hospitality sector stakeholders to partake in this transformative initiative. Registrations are currently ongoing

No late or paper entries are accepted, Upon submitting a complete entry, you will receive a confirmation message. Participation, Graduation & registration in the Upskilling Program is free of charge. The Managers and Directors are also invited to register for a Hospitality Business Management Training.
