Tourism Fund continuously support of various programs aimed at enhancing sustainability and development of the Tourism Sector.  The Fund is guided by among others, the Tourism Act 2011, Vision 2030, National Tourism Strategy and its current strategic plan.

Tourism Fund, through its Capacity Building Department, has announced a training program in Homa Bay from 28th July 2025 to 8th August 2025 at Mawego National Polytechnic, to enhance the skills and capabilities of uncertified tourism workers. This initiative addresses the need to bridge the skills gap in the hotel industry by offering capacity-building opportunities for workers who have never had any formal training. Further, the Youth are encouraged to apply for content creation training.

Training for industry leaders, covering business sustainability, contemporary trends, human resources, financial management, and statutory responsibilities, is scheduled to take place. This training targets the managers, directors, and owners. The venue for the training will be communicated in due course. Tourism Fund is inviting all stakeholders in the tourism and hospitality sector to participate in this transformative initiative. Registrations are currently ongoing
